k750i Flash Menus

So i found the thread that showed how to install the flash menus to my phone. when i run phoneXS it only takes a couple minutes for it to say that its been installed. this is weird because it says in the tutorial that it should take anywhere between 30min to 4 hours to install. I tried uploading the flash themes as well, but nothing works. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.

I would say Flashmenus doesnt work on K750..

1.it took a lil time coz you got into the loader.

2.K750 doesn't support flash menus but you can make its menu to seems like that.I've done it.

Even if you convert your K750 to W800 it wont work.Here is one post from se-nse.com

Here's the full story at my end:
It's been 13 hours straight of flashes, mods, rewrites, editing and such. I wasn't able to use any menu files. Heck, I've even made a flash file for diags... Nothing. You can use them as wallpapers, but it ain't worth it. It's hard work and the number of bugs in the FW just makes it useless.
So I began to wonder. Why oh why did SE put the flash files and the flash playing capabilities in that FW? As it turns out: I have a friend that works for SE. I phoned him (you guys owe me one, international phone call!!!) and asked a few nasty questions. Just about 10 mins later I got an email (I'll fully quote it, translated from romanian to english): "I've got info on your troublesome flash menus in W800. As it turns out, the firmware you mentioned was flash capable, but this was done only for testing purposes. Later on it turned out that the hardware in the W800 (and thus in K750) didn't have enough power to run flash menus. Also, due to bugs in the firmware, later versions excluded the flash playing capabilities to make room for software improvements. Take it this way: the W800 was a test platform and is the grand daddy of the W810 but you will never get flash menus on it unless you somehow manage to rewrite the firmware so that you optimize it to have enough power for the menu AND manage to overcome all the bugs. If you can do this, heck, give me a call and I'll get you a job in my office =) In a nutshell, that firmware was never intended to run flash menus, and the flash wallpapers is just a hack and not even a pretty one as you will find a lot of bugs." The rest is personal stuff.
I hope this will get your minds of flash menus for W800. It's only a dream and the guys that faked it are probably kids playing pranks on people (though I don't understand why... Make us bang our heads against the wall for using a fw riddled with bugs? Make us beg them for the answer?). Anyway, I'm happy with my custom layout.xml file and I don't need smooth transitions for my menu. Anyway, for my closing, I'd like to thank to the idi*ts that started this thread as I will get a pretty neat phone bill for that international call, and to all you guys out there that want flash menus, GO BUY A W810!!!

this tutorial is for CID 36 . if u cid is 49 then u have to do two more steps
1.this must do before the tutorial given
we need to patch our MAIN firmware to make it compatible with FAR plugin. For this remove SIM and connect your phone with XS++ (or any other flashing program that you use), and check to flash MAIN. Click ‘…’ and browse to the FAR folder and then to Plugins folder. Select the file according to your phone model, in my case, ‘k750w800_r2e_dcu.49r.ssw’ (for K750/W800/W700 CID49) . Now hit flash . 5 flashblocks will be loaded in 5 seconds!!!). Now our MAIN is patched.
2.this must do last of the tutorial given
The final step is to un-patch the MAIN firmware. Again, open FAR manager program, and connect fone, the same way as before. This time goto FLASH instead of FS. Now your inside FLASH. On the left side, you are in FAR manager folder. goto Plugins folder and then to REST. You see a number of files… with prefix ‘REST_’ followed by your fone’s firmware version. Select the appropriate file of your MAIN firmware (I have a k750 flashed to w800 r1bc002 main so REST_W800_R1BC002 in my case) and drag it to anywhere on the left side. Hit flash. Close FAR manager and unplug your fone. The job is done!!!




IF U DONT WANT TO DO THIS THEN PATCH U R PHONE WITH MOVE MENU TO OTHER.IF U DONE THIS THEN U CAN CHANGE U R MENU ICONS EASILY BY SIMPLY PLACING ICONS IN MENU FOLDER.

k750 same as w800 can be setup to use menu's with animations aka .gifs but flash menus that's a bit rough. K750 are known to support flash, but only on the web.
