If you wrote wrong GDFS then phone wouldn't work at all. If you've reflashed the firmware after it was patch unlocked then that's one reason why it's showing that message. What CID is it?

I downloaded .bin (GDFS) file from topsony/downloads.
And I wrote it to my k800i. Now it shows "Insert correct SIM card". boysie plz help me dear.
