If you wrote wrong GDFS then phone wouldn't work at all. If you've reflashed the firmware after it was patch unlocked then that's one reason why it's showing that message. What CID is it?
It is CID 52
I downloaded .bin (GDFS) file from topsony/downloads.
And I wrote it to my k800i. Now it shows "Insert correct SIM card". boysie plz help me dear.
Why did you write that?
I'm beginner for flashing k800. There was a problem in my phone sound system. The speaker, earphone & hands free sound was corrupted. Therefore I flashed it. but the problem was not resolved. therefore I downloaded .bin (GDFS) file from topsony/downloads. And I wrote it to my k800i. what can I do for this dear? plz help me.
thanks boysie.
I wish you'd make things clear. Topic says "totally dead" yet you say it says "insert correct sim card" so obviously it's not dead. You should have requested advice before doing things blindly. Messing around flashing GDFS without knowing what you're doing can have disasterous consequences. As I said earlier; Your phone may well have been patch unlocked and so flashing it will have removed the patch.

As I suspected. You have a GDFS mismatch so not only do you have a hardware problem, you also have a screwed GDFS area. You only way to fix these issues is to do what satch1234 said and take it for repair. In future, ask advice BEFORE doing anything to your phone.
