Error when flashing w980

My phone will not switch on beyond the keys lighting up. I used a2uploader and got a "can't get NET header" error when using file system tool. I got "[a2_fout_ssw] can't get NET header"when trying to flash the main firmware using R3EG004_MAIN_GENERIC_MD_RED52.mbn (could not find R3EA3037 as previously on phone). Help!!! how do I get this phone to work? Do I need to replace the file system and lose my data?

better flash it with omnius is free :)

Try omnius, I am not sure, but flashing sonyericsson A200 platform could be free.

Thanks for replies and advice to use Omnius. I managed to get the phone working after repeated attempts to flash both the main and FS. I suggest to anyone with a similar problem to just keep trying, but with different orders of identify/flash/file system and with different versions of firmware. Good to have my W980 back - it has some great design features, but shame about the Sony connector!
