using SE phone like talkie-walkie

I don't think there is a point in using bluetooth for talking cuz there is a ~10m (~30ft) working distance for the bluetooth in phones. U can send messeges via bluetooth to other SE phones as notes.

great! i write large notes using myphoneexplorer and i could send them! bluetooth is limited by distance, so are there any other method using wireless to talk or send messges to other phones without using gsm?
