A few providers are trying to push PTT and I have not seen anything by SE reffering to them jumping on this bandwagon. I dont know why most (if not all) cell providers dont use this feature becuase its another marketing gimick for them to push... but its also another great feature to have, even if it is a 'just in case'.

I do wish that SE added the PTT on their phones.

i think se shoul make something original similar to ptt. i would make it with extra hardware that supports cb (citizen band), and making it independant from the operator.

don't think it's possible to increase the bluetooth range.
from memory it's more of a hardware or protocol thing?
so unless phone makers put in bluetooth v2, you'll be stuck on 10m

Bluetooth are separated in class A (100meters coverage) and class B (10meter coverage).
Class A is using by the most of the pc's and laptops.
Class B is using by mobile phones, bluetooth headset,...etc.
