Re: how to add languages to your phone

Hi I've got v630i, CID 52, and I have the FS and MAIN files. I would like to add Hebrew , how would I go ahead and do it? Can I use for instance languages of K610 (I heard it's the same firmware).

    Thanks in advance.

Japan6 - you can either use the steps i have stated in the first post of this thread, or you can just flash your phone with a new FS. Both should work. Either way your going to have to use a FS that has farsi on it. (M EAST N AFR or S_ASIA_LEVAN FS should do the trick. Just make sure that they are for your R1KG001 firmware.)

I think flashing my phone with a new FS will be easier for me, but there are lots of M EAST N AFR in the site. Can u please check my phone type and give me a link to the exact FS i should download?
    these are my phone's characteristics:

    Platform: DB2020
    OTP CID: 49
    EROM CID: 52
    EROM Color: Red
    Phone ID: K800
    Region: MEDITERR
    CDA: CDA102568/4 R5A
    Firmware Version: R1KG001
    EROM: R3A016

Re: how to add languages to your phone

@zhenkang: for supporting full chinese, you should also flash the chinese MAIN, not only the FS.
    For traditional Chinese: Downloads - R8BA024_RED52 - W580_R8BA024_MAIN_HONG_KONG_LA_RED52 - Top Sony Forums
    For simplify Chinese: Downloads - R8BA024_RED52 - W580_R8BA024_MAIN_CHINA_LA_RED52 - Top Sony Forums

Re: how to add languages to your phone

    Hi All,

I'm looking for the Russian Language for my W580i (AT&T, but unlocked). I do not want to reflash the entire firmware; however, I cannot find just the language files for my phone. Any suggestions/instructions?

    Thank you in advance!

    Pasha

as I said in another thread, see this thread or directly on se-nse. In se-nse, I know another thread that can help you add a language to your phone but, I'm not at home, so I don't have the link.
