this method doesn't work with A2 models, as the .lst and .dat files don't exist

"customize.xml" is uploaded in phone's FS (TPA/preset/custom), when you make customization with "CDA", so you don't have to copy it from phone to PC. Just identify your phone with Setool or XS++ download the CDA, unpack it and you'll find "customize.xml".

Re: how to add languages to your phone

i've been searching through the forums and i found a common problem. there is no zs.t9 or zh.t9 file anywhere. even when the phone is flashed w/ a language pack that has zs/zh, its still impossible to type in that language, only able to display it.

so, does anyone have a solution to this problem, ie: where i can find .t9 files?

Re: how to add languages to your phone

It looks like the method in the first post of this thread does not work for adding Chinese (zh and zs) to W760a (AT&T branded). I followed the procedure exactly, except deleting lng.dat files as they are not there. ZH and ZS still do not show up in the list of languages after reboot.

Has anyone successfully added ZH and ZS to their AT&T branded W760a phones? If so, how did you do it? Thanks very much in advance!

This is great! I added Norwegian language files from the k790 on my C905a (Americas) - and t9 input works without a hitch! :) Very nice.
