yep if you can see the orbit theme, than that means flash is already enabled. therefore, you only need to upload new SWF files into your FS
what do you mean flashing your phone to customize? just like uploading files or flashing in a new firmware?
and if you can update SEUS, it might be locked. press <**< and if all the padlocks are unlocked, then your phone is unlocked!

Flashing a new firmware in the event my phone is locked. If it is locked what does that actually mean? That I cant upload swf files to my FS?
Pressing <**< I got:
A screen with: Personalized with MNC3
and then
Network with a lock icon also
Network subset with a lock.

because the locks are locked, then your phone is locked. (see above for what locked means)
