Why won't SEUS update my phone?

I unbranded my phone with generic firmware & i know
there are more recent generic firmware versions
available so why does the SE Update App tell me
that my phone is up to date?
Does the IMEI reveal to SE that my phone belongs to
the provider in question & is therefore ineligible for
generic updates?
Even if that were the case, I know there is more
recent provider branded firmware too.
Why aren't i being updated?

are you sure the firmware you have on the phone isn't the latest? the IMEI has nothing to do with SEUS, SEUS checks the customization and firmware version and updates the phone according to your CDA. Did you flash the phone with generic firmware. Check your firmware version in service menu of the phone.

Yes, check the fw version, and also the CDA, must be a generic one.

Yep all generic versions (Main/FS/CDA) & it's definately not the most up-to-date firmware!

I had problems with SEUS too. I did reset all.

SEUS is updating my phone even if I just updated it with SEUS. It never returns up-to-date. Maybe because SEUS is always flashing an old firmware version to my phone. I have n z350i.

SEUS has quite a long list of bugs/problems. First of all, it checks for certain limitations for the region that the soft has. One thing (small but annoying) is that for general EU files you can't turn off the shutter sound for the camera (etc). So rather than using seus, I prefer to do the job manually with XS++
At least this way I know what I'm getting on the phone.
