far gives you readCID error, doesnt a bar appears below "Please Wait"? it fills up in a few minutes, if it doesnt then i recomend you do a full job, reflash everything including EROM and GDFS.

Update:
last night Davinci gave me my credits back so I could repeat the procedure, I did so and it said everything had worked OK on the log, however when I turn it on I still get the same, the progress bar under the please wait message gets about 1/3 of the way across and freezes. I tried again after this to connect to far and still get the same read CID error message. I am now seriously miffed.
I know gflash will allow erom flashing and read GDFS, but the write GDFS section remains shaded and not available. Could anyone advise which is the best software for flashing GDFS as it dosent apear on XS++?
