Patches for W800 use CID36 or CID49?

Well, I am back after using my CID49 K750 as a W800 for a while. I have applied a few patches and GSLIDEd them with my W800 R1BC002 MAIN file.

My question is...

I have noticed TopSony has R1BC002 patches under 2 headings, CID36 and CID49. When do people use which one?

My guess is that if I am using the GSLIDE approach then I should be using the CID36 patches with my W800 R1BC002 MAIN, since GSLIDE converts CID36 to CID49. If you use FAR Manager to apply patches on an already flashed CID49 MAIN then the CID49 patches are to be used.

Can someone please tell me. I am having problems getting FAR Manager to open FS or MAIN so I am using GSLIDE at the moment. This is not a big deal but I would like to know which patches to use.

You can use CID36 patches in CID49 phone. Only one that differs is ignore closed latch for camera. CID36 and 49 have different camera module.

and can we use cid49 patches for cid36?

I think yes you can because there is a patch called "ignore closed latch" and if you look to its file you will see "working cid49" therefore i think cid49 patch will work on cid36 but cid36 patch doesn't work on 49

On Top Sony there aren't W800 49 cid firmwares. Use gslide and convert it into 49
