k800i Flashing White Screen!

Sorry for double posting!

The phone is detected as k700 with SeTool.
It means it's dead forever?

I told you that i had the same problem on few k800 and it was also detected as k700 so if you can try to replace display.I service phones about 7 years and it was always display problem.Don't touch gdfs or you will make more damage,take the phone to some private repair shop and ask him about your problem i think he will tell you that display is damaged,you have nothing to loose if you ask.

It IS NOT a display issue. How can a damaged display show K700 as phone model lol??? You obviously don't know that if phone is detected as K700 then it has GDFS problem. Anyone with some experience should know this

AlexRussell, Backup security units with SETool2lite script, write another K800 GDFS, restore security units. Job done.

Read this link very carefully and your GDFS will be repaired...

my problem solved

many time gdfs repair but same k700 show and then change lcd phone will b ok

change lcd, tested many times
