W580i reads as K700

I have changed the cables with known working cables and display. I don't know what rehot reball flash chip means. Is it heating up a certain chip on the board to a certain temp? Since this phone is reading as k700 would it not make sense that someone did this before I got it? And, is that in the erom, rom, gdfs? Did someone cross flash this or flash with wrong erom or gdfs? I wish I knew where each file resided. Main is where? FS is where? GDFS is where? And would Omnius be able to repair this error?
