580i camera driver

Hello, I am new to your forum. I am computer literate but very new to the technical side of mobiles. My 580i is giving an error message when I try to use the camera saying that another application is open. I have seen a thread somewhere saying that it probably needs a new camera driver installed. I tried re-installing the phne software from the SE update site this uploaded ok but the error is still there.

Can anyone help please.

if software already flashed and still not solve, need to do hardware, first change main flex flat ribbon (the one with widest in size), if still not done, change the second ribbon, if still not work, change camera

In fact, you can use SEUS software (Sony Ericsson Update Service) to reinstall or update your phone software, is one of the many options; but specifically the Flash procedure means: Flash your phone and How to apply or remove patch using SETool 2 Lite. You can review and apply it.

Paths - Where should I upload Flash menu/Layout/Drivers etc.
