if you have joystick problems use a little WD-40, put a drop on the joystick mechanism and move it a bit. it will become just as new. it worked for my brothers K700i. Sorry for being off-topic. to be on topic this alarm thing works on my Z200i, my W550i, my W810i and on my brothers K700i. ;)

the alarm works on many phones simply turned off.. no need to remove sim card or mem card... bu not the battery XD
