It's recommended before any procedure (update, flash, etc) make sure that all is well (hardware).
In this case, check your FASTPORT (slot where you connect your data cable) is well, then try to update again but now you could use SEUS program (Sony Ericsson Update Service).

hey SEUS program worked thanks lot ,but now just a one problem you have to solve for me .it doesn't recognize my sim card and says insert correct usim.plz help me.
