w850i boots to only white screen

my old w850i boots to only white screen. nothing further. i have flashed motorolla phones earlier, but i m totally clueless abt sony ericsson. can someone help how do i revive it?

Could be a number of things? but its normally the ribbon that connect the motherboard to the Lcd which you can get pretty cheap on ebay. Don't buy the refurbished one normally don't work. Also a bad Lcd can cause white screen and a faulty top keypad membrane.

Took it to a local mobile repair shop coz i didnt have the cable or else i would have tried. one said the keyboard membrane need to be replaced. another one said it needs to be flashed. and he fixed it only for $2 (100 INR). wasnt tht cheap?
