For Ubuntu/KDE...Gnome users you can use Kmobiletools it works great you can send sms,call,go in phonebook...manage calendar (i didn't manage to but it is said)...

MyPhoneExplorer is designed for SonyEricsson K700,K750,K800 - but it works with every SonyEricsson-phone exept the symbian-based phones (P-series, M600, W950)

i really like the 'phone keypad' feature
but when you press a button (ie <- or -> ) it only registers as a quick press, and not a hold - so it's not really good in java games...

Anyone know the location that i can download ONLY the Phone Keypad Controller?
I've searching a software that is capable to control the headset via DCU-60 cable like My Phone Explorer.
