Unlock code question

I'll get fast to the problem :P

Allright I've got a unlock code for my k550i but it just consists of 15 numbers

Don't ask me were got it from. Can i rly unlock it with that code?

And if I can, how?

I've tryed from normal menus...typing in the section were pin is asked.

If its a legitimate unlock code, normally you put a different SIM card in the phone, it will say something like invalid SIM and prompt for a code to be entered. You put the code in, and if all is good, the sim will magically work.

I have no idea what form the unlock code takes, so can't say whether it is a 15 digit code (sounds like the imei number?)

Be aware that you only have a few chances to get it right...

No it's not my IMEI for sure

And it's not asking me for the code to be entered. After I type the PIN number the phone says "Insert proper SIM card" (translated from croatian) ;P

There's nothing that asks me to enter a unlock code
I only can press few buttons, than I get something like a emergency call screen where i can enter numbers

Any idea how I could enter that unlock I've got? Save me the writing of how I got it, maybe it not working at all, i'm just checking if someone knows how to enter it. I've tried few combinations PIN than that code and vice versa. But it's not working

Maybe I can enter that via a program?

Any idea?

Aye I have found some information on this website how to unlock various mobile phones

these are the instructions for Sony Ericsson

1. Power on your phone without SIM card or with Original one
2. Press joystick left once
3. Press * twice
4. Press joystick left once
5. Phone will say "Personalize with MNC2" or "Personalized with MNC3"
6. Wait approximately 5 seconds
7. The display will indicate "Network" and a picture of a closed padlock
8. Press Select
9. The display will indicate "Unlock (Net) 5" and "NCK:"
10. You can now enter the supplied unlock code
11. Phone will display "Network unlocked" and then "Insert SIM" message
12. Your phone is unlocked

If your phone has a jogdial press it down instead of joystick left.

I have tried to unlock my mobile phone with these instrucions, but It says something like "Not allowed" when I enter the 15 digit code.

an unlock code is ALWAYS 16 digits so your unlock code is not valid.

Yes you are right i know the mobile unlocking code is 16 digit number i use this website to get unlock code on my mobile superunlockcodes.com i got 16 digit number and i unlock my mobile i cont believe you unlock your mobile with 15 digit number.
