Help with W995 flashing

Hi, I hope somebody could point me in the right direction.

I have a W995 on o2 and i have read on forums that o2 are nutorious for butchering SE phones firmware. It currently will not allow me to use my own Wi-Fi connection and i believe flashing it would fix this? Am i correct?

I'd like to have the phone as SE intended its customers to have it and not what o2 believe we should have (lol?)

Also it would be a great help if somebody could post the links to the correct firmware etc for me. I am a noob at this and do not want to risk killing my phone.

Hi,

I have w995 too. I had Orange firmware in it. I used original sony ericsson aplication to update my firmware and I'm really happy that I did that :) Working wifi, new aplications, no orange commercials ...
I really recommend you to do the same! Program will do everything for ya! Visit official page!
