Thanks for the reply. First I don't know where the HB1 file is & second the phone is not being detected my XS++ Just note that I think there is totally no software at all on this phone, could it be totally dead/unrepairable?

You must have installed SEMC USB flash driver -> install SEUS and SEMC USB flash driver will be installed automaticaly.
When connect to XS++ v3.1 hold 2 and 5 together instead "C" button and put USB cable.
