c905a and safelink

i have a c905a . i debranded and unlocked my cell phone. i recently got myself a safelink sim card but cant get it to work with my cell phone . the c905a keeps saying inactive sim . how do i get this sim to work with my phone?

@towncarblue, if you call "SafeLink" you'll find the fact you can't use their SIM with another phone.

can i use boost mobile phone sim cards ?
i originally did the unlocking so that i could use either boost mobile or safelink/tracphone sim cards with my c905a

I think you can use a boost mobile SIM card with any unlocked GSM phone.

the answer is no , you cannot use a boost mobile sim card for a non boost mobile phone / tried today.
i went and paid to get my c905a unlocked but now i cant find a prepaid provider to use my cell phone. wha is the point of unlocking a cell phone???
