K800 Screw up. Please Help

Thank you for your reply. Yes I did turn on the phone after the flash, and the phone worked absolutely fine, but that was the one and only time it did work. I then turned it off (Can't be certain, but I'm fairly sure I did NOT remove the battery again) and after that it wouldn't respond again.

Was not removing the battery after the flash my fatal error?

I had become resigned to the fact that it's probably a service centre job.
