    W800 setool2 / sefp / jdFlasher patch problem

    Hi,

    I've generated an unlock script for a w800 using SIMLockPatchGen and have tried to apply it using setool2lite, sefp and Jdflasher, getting problems with each. I've tried it on the phone with both the R1BC002 and R1N035 firmware installed. The phone is a DB2010 with CID36.

    When trying to apply patch via setool, I get the following error:

    Going to execute VKP script....
    ChipID:8040,EMP protocol:0301

    OBSOLETE EROM,FORCING COLOR -> RED
    OBSOLETE EROM,FORCING CID -> 49

    PHONE IS RED RETAIL PRODUCT
    FLASH CID detected:49
    Speed:921600
    OTP LOCKED:1 CID:36 PAF:1 IMEI:xxxxxxxxxxx CERT:RED
    DCU60 flashing only supported for RED CID49 phones !
    Elapsed:3 secs.

    The CID of my phone is not 49, it's 36, so I'm not sure why I get this error.

    When trying to apply patch using SEFP and FarManager, when I press F5 to bring up the copy dialog, and then I press copy, nothing happens. A dialog should come up asking me whether I want to apply the patch, but no matter what patch I try I can't get it to appear [I've tried several patches and several versions of sefp]. Copy doesn't seem to do anything.

    Finally in JdFlasher I go into bflash and when it is on the line cmd3c: 2010_f_bg I get the error "SetDirectory(setdir(setmode(doscript(cmd3c(gethel lo(IOusb::getblock(time exceed))))))

    Clutching at straws trying to find out how to apply the patch as I can't see why it wouldn't work. Any suggestions on what I can try to get further? I've spent a fair few hours on google and forums trying to track down the issue.

    Try using Gflash, or patching main with GSlide and then flash with patched main...
