s500i camera not working

every time i go to the camera it loads up perfectly but it only shows me a black screen could anybody tell me whats wrong and what i should do to fix it?

are you able to click pictures.??
i now your screen is black you cant see....
but try clicking the picture and look in camera album folder

i recently nstalled a full new w580i housing and checked to see if anything was disconnected and everything was fine, just recently when i flashed my phone to a w580i the camera was still showing the same problem but just last week when i click on the camera it freezes the whole phone and i have to restart it by taking the battery out. iwas wondering if it is the actual camera that is damaged?
