w995 no network coverage

Hello.
I`m getting no network coverage after flashing my w995.
Tried SEUS+custom_upgrade.xml and FS+MAIN+custom pack and nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help me with this issue, seems like this is an unsolved problem for many users who have debranded their w995.



-Phone was on orange.
-Unlocked and debranded now.

Possible cause 1: Your phone is in flight mode.

Solution: Restart the phone in normal mode with full functionality.To view flight board menu options > Settings > scroll to the General tab > Setup Wizard and select an option.

Like i said - i debranded and unlocked this phone by myself. Phone was on orange and sim unlock procedure was successful and it was fully unlocked. Next step that i took - debrand. With A2uploader i flashed firmware with Sony Ericsson genuine to get rid of Orange crap. Everything was successful but with no network coverage tho. Then i used SEUS (sony ericsson update service) with created manually CDA file (customize_upgrade) placed in tpa/custom/preset and then ran SEUS - update was successful and i still get this no network coverage message. Used D-ultimate unlocker (paid service) with Direct Unlock(+Sec. zone rebuild) option - still the same problem. I don`t know what to do next. I`m confused to be honest. Some people said that my GDFS file is corrupted and can`t be restored properly without SE support.

Hi,your problem is damaged GDFS.I just repaired one w995 with same problem.You have to write good gdfs,unlock and fullflash the phone.
It can be done with omnius.Contact me in omnius forum so i will try to help you.

Hi, GDFS was OK, I sent to SE repair centre & they sent me an exchange unit. Original phone was BER due to faulty RF component!

Thanks for info.Few w995 after flashing lost network so i tought that you have same problem.It happened to Nick too(you can check in omnius forum)and after gdfs repair his phone is working fine.I am glad that they replace your phone.

Hi newbie (Feb 2010) with this exact problem but the post referred to seems to have expired. Could the solution be reposted please. would be much appreciated.
