W 580i db2020 cid 53

Since cid 53 cannot be edited with setool or the version of xs++ i tried out is there a way to apply a patch or flash the phone cause i want to increase my sms storage and aplly a lock code?

I know that the problem is my CID53 issue since i recently updated my walkman phone. I just dont know how to follow the instructions given by SEAMONKEY in his post "Patching CID53 (DB2020)&DB2010,2012" last 01-03-2009 since I can't understand some technical words like MAIN.
