Don't upgrade firmware unless you have problem in previous one. Because you need to have a software knowledge to do modding.

I think R1CA001 is the best because in R1DB001 the bluetooth don't turn on automatically in Java applications, speaker isn't as loud as in R1CA001,...I don't know why they released R1DB001.

Bur you can use audio drivers form R1CA001.

I think that the best option, not necessarily the best, firmawre to choose is R1CA021 as it is stable and has the most patches avaliable for it.

If u use an original firmware, try R1CA021, if you want to mod it, try R1DB001 and mod especially the acoustic drivers...
