Unlocking an Orange w580i to use it in Norway

Hi,
I inherited an w580i which is bought in France (i think), and has an "Orange" logo on the front. I live in Norway, though, and have a norwegian sim-card.. I've been reading alot about flashing, but I don't think this will help, I need to unlock the operator restrictions somehow.. When I insert my SIM-card it says in french "insert valid sim card"..
How can I get this to work with my Norwegian sim-card?

I do not have the Sim-card that came with the phone...
And I'm pretty new at this unlockig/flashing, so I need some help to find out if I have cid 52 or what i have.. I know, from the "secret" service menu that my phone's firmware has something to do with R8BE001, and ORANGE...
