    GDFS restore?

    hi,

i looked alot for answer for my last question about gsm 850 but it's seem there is no answer for that.....

today i looked in my computer at home and i found a gdfs backup file i did before i start play with my phone.

i read in all places that it's a big risk to do a gdfs restore and that i can find my self with a unfunction k610i.

my question is: if i'm sure that this is my gdfs but i changed since then the firmware of my phone, is it safe to do gdfs restore? should i flash it first to generic firmware that was in the phone in the start? (it was r1gb001 and now it's r1jc002).

is that can fix the gsm 850 problem?
    thanks
