k800i flashing white screen

Hello all
I have a k800i that will only flash a white screen. From what I have read on the net it sounds like a firmware issue. I've had a look around this site but have no idea what I need to do this or how. Could someone please help

You can get an identify log by pressing "IDENTIFY", (not "READ GDFS"). You should save GDFS when the phone is working.

I downloaded those files and used setool1.10. (every copy of 1.11 I can find even on this site contains a virus) Followed the guide and the phone now seems to be working as new.
