Language change mysterie W880i Please Help

Hi, I'm calling on you all cause I'm getting desperate.

I bought a 2nd hand W880i for my daughter via eBay in Germany, the phone is fine but in German :) and as my daughter speaks Dutch SMS I would like to flash the phone to Dutch. The phone is SIMLock free and CID53

I've flashed the phone with FAR2 and JDFlasher to

W880_R8BA024_FS_EUROPE_3_RED53.fbn
W880_R8BA024_MAIN_VODAFONE_AI_RED53.mbn &
W880i_CDA102719_89_R8A_Proximus_Belgium

After flashing, the phone works fine but no way to change the language other than English, (and doing a Master Reset isn't working either but no p)
I've added NL to the allowed_language.txt file and to the costumize.xml (in tpa/preset/custom), no luck

it's driving me pretty crazy :) Is the above combo maybe wrong?
