Please help me in tweaking Z550i...

I am new to mobile flashing / modding techniques. I am having an SE Z550i phone. I want to customize it. Please help me in doing so. Please help me in finding the pre-requisites, backup procedure (to make the phone live again if some error occurs), tweaking tools, tweaking methods etc.

I tried searching the forum, but got confused of the different pre-requisites mentioned for each firmware. Some threads says CID49 cannot be flashed and so on..Please help me...:)

The main problem that i am facing is that no folders are getting listed in the FAR Manager. I am having FAR Manager 1.7 and the SEFP patch installed in my m/c. What could be wrong, anything else need to be installed?

It would be helpful if some one illustrate the different the pre-requisites and the different steps to tweak Z550i.

I have a Z550 too, and i'm really proud too say i managed to do all that

I used the information in the above post, and it worked great for me...
Technicly, there's almost ni way of screwing up your phone if you use this tutorial... but be carefull and read it with attention...i think you will need to install far again..try the one linked in the post, cause it worked perfectly for me

and don't worry, any mistake you make can be repaired by starting over... Good luck!!!

TRIED EVERYTHING OUT THERE.
*IN SEUS Cell Don't reStarts
*In SETool2 Cell Don't Restarts
*In XS++ Cell Don't Restarts
BUT IN FAR IT RESTARTS WHEN CLICKED ON 'FS' TWICE.???????

You'll Say Go And Flash It With XS++ Then. HA HA HA!
XS++ while Customizing Or Flashing Plays MaryGoRound And Round.
YES! IT GOT LOOPED! REPEATS THE PROCESS 100 Of TImes Untill I Press STOP.
1000 Time I Wished At Least it Should DIE after Stoppin XS.
BUT IT BOOTS EVERYTIME JUST LIKE A WARRIOR WITH MANY INJURIES OR SHOULD SAY LIKE AN BASTARD PIMP.
and at last It works as usual.

NOW ANY SUGGESTIONS FROM SOME BRILLIANT.

Far Manager gives problem to many with Z550i. whatever u do it RESTARTS.

But i managed

here is quick refrnce.

1. download SEUS (too lethargic but u'll thank me for it later) - it installs FLASH DRIVERS very easily and accurately.
2. Se Tool2 lite lastest frm 4shared or topsony.com
3. XS++ 3.1 latest
4. GENERIC_ML file for UR firmware
5. and wahtever u wannt to do -firmwares, patches, acoustics etc :: download hem
6. GUIDE
7. follw it.
