C902 Aerix Unlock Battery Drainage Problem

Hello there. Quite a while ago when Aerix was quite new I have used it to unlock a C902, at that time there were no known issues with the software. I have recently discovered that many people have been getting battery drainage problems with this unlock tool and I've realized that the same thing has happened to my C902. If I knew at the time that such a problem would occur I would have not risked it. Is there any way to fix this without having to spend too much? I don't even mind if the phone goes back to it's locked status, so would a Sony Software Update work?
