extracting firmware

hi guys can we extract the stock firmware before we mod our phone if so them how and what software should we use

for which firmware?
we can only extract MAIN..

i think that it's impossible ;)
but you can copy all the files from your phone using XS++ and FAR and then make a customization with that files :), after that you just need the FS and the MAIN file what you have on the phone, it can be found on the internet, but you need to know what firmware(main, fs, customization) is on your phone, it's possible by pressing > * < < * < * (right, star, left, left, star, left, star)

Use gextract main2raw fs2raw semc and other like this ... u men u want to extract the files from the *.fbn or *.mbn file no? use the above tools to do this

i use gextract but i have same problem how i exactly extract(resources files and diractories) from .mbn and .fbn files
