    Re: w595 Flashing

Hi - can any one help! I recently bought a W595 phone on Orange UK. I have tried to upgrade the phone's firmware using SEUS and it continuously fails at 65%. The phone is now in an unusable state. The Update Service is trying to download and install ORANGE-SIGN 1213-2518. Any ideas how I can get this working again? Is there a log from SEUS anywhere that might give me an indication of the problem? I've just made the leap from having Nokia phones for 8 years and I was hoping to be impressed... so far I'm regretting my decision. I tried to upgrade the firmware on the W595 because I heard it'll support 16GB M2 cards. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Re: w595 Flashing

I did have a full battery, it's probably not now tho! I've tried to reflash it about 10 times. I'm not sure if I can charge it, I left it plugged in for about 2 hours but as the phone has no firmware and doesn't boot I'm not sure if it charged! It lit up tho.

I'll have another go with the A2 Uploader. Last night AVG was telling me it contained a Trojan and I couldn't run it.

I'm wondering if the phone doesn't have enough free memory (it should have tho, it's new). For reference, I've removed the SIM Card and M2 memory card too.
