G705->W715 worth doing? how?

Well nobody helped me (seems all the experts are lazy :) ) so i lost the entire day doing research and i finaly made it yes the g705 to w715 crossflash is possible.

Is it worth it ? By my oppinion it is not. Why? Because all you get is shake control which is realy and utterly useless.


However for all you who just have to have walkman features i will share how you can do this.


You need the following files :

1. W715_R1DA035_FS_NORDIC_RED52
2. W715_R1DA035_MAIN_GENERIC_NR_RED52
3. W715_1221-2787_R8A_HR_VIP_Croatia

Well the 3rd one is a custom pack and i used the croatian one because im from Cro :) , you can use any custom pack you want.

Last but not the least you need the A2Uploader - but not regular one because it's missing couple of options like flash .... so you have to find an a2uploader rwf , google it up you will find it (i guess rwf = read write flash) .

So when you downloaded all the necessary files 1st thing you have to do is unpack all the rar/zip.

2nd. install gg (gordon gate) drivers, these usually come together with a2 uploader.

3rd start A2Uploader and press add button to add the W715_R1DA035_FS_NORDIC_RED52.fbm and W715_R1DA035_MAIN_GENERIC_NR_RED52.mbm

4th press FLASH, turn off your phone if you haven't already and hold c while you are connecting it to the PC.

Keep on holding c untill the driver installs and program begins to flash your phone then release it.

Do not press stop at any time !

When flashing is finished disconnect the cable. don't start the phone yet.
restart A2Uploader and press File system tool, again hold c while connecting the phone to the PC.
Once you see the right window fill up with phone "folders" release c.
now select tpa icon on the right window and open it.
Now open the custom pack (in my case W715_1221-2787_R8A_HR_VIP_Croatia) inside you can see tpa folder, select all inside of it and then drag&drop to the A2uploaders right window (the one you opened up earlier by clicking tpa on it).

Wait untill the upload finishes and then disconnect your phone.

turn on your phone and just wait untill the "Please Wait" message ends (it can take a lot of time in my case around 4-5 min)

Voila thats it you just crossflased your g705 to w715.

Oh forgot to say if you use SEUS after you do this your phone will restore itself back to g705 with the latest firmware, so if you like your crossflash don't use SEUS.
