Finally fixed.
Followed the guides and after a few attempts, have got my phone unlocked again.
Had to get a T-Mobile sim card to do this but found one for £1.25 from ebay with almost £5 credit (how do they do this?).
Would have done it a lot quicker had i not selected the executor app again by mistake (in games), instead of deleteing it. Dont make this mistake! (pressed "select" instead of "more" and then "delete".
So am very happy and would like to thank all the people who develop these tools and ways of doing the unlocking.

Still dont know why my sons phone only shows up the memory stick (and not the phone memory) when connected to the computer? If any one has any ideas on how to fix this, I would appreciate the help.
