Re-Brand Question ( network custom software, 3, live messenger, skype)

some background...
3 (UK network) allows you to download Skype and Windows Live Messenger applications. these seem to only download to official 3 phones (when downloading from direct from 3)

my phone (C902) is unlocked. i've debranded it before. i've rebranding it with 3 firmware / FS using A2uploader (not the UK firmware as i can't find it. i also tried SEUS but SEUS didn't like the 3 UK CDA)

my question is...
how does the network know that my phone isn't a 3 phone. is it IMEI related? or custom files? or do i just need to find the UK firmware files?

Try dowloading this file MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Bluetooth the jad file to your phone and you should be prompted to download skype.

The firmware shouldn't matter because I have generic firmware and it works fine for me!

I don't know if this will work but let me know how you get on...
