K800 sleep mode

Hi all

I had the white screen of death and as a result changed the firmware to a k810. the phone now seems to be working fine except for when in sleep mode there is a white screen, which i dont believe there should be. I have tried changing the display driver as a few sites have suggested as well as the light effects, but nothing seems to work and as a result my battery is being drained really quickly.

I was wondering if anybody had any other ideas?
