W850i WSOD (White Screen of Death) Which Firmware To Use?

HI guys,

Found your GREAT site and need some help please. Ive just put a new case on my old 850i, but whilst dismantling I damaged the main ribbon cable to the slide part, so ordered a new one from ebay.

Once put back together I now get the flashing white screen when I try to power on.

So judging by a little bit of googling I think maybe a reflash will cure the problem?

It would also be nice to get the phone unlocked as I'm giving it mo my mother in law who uses orange (The phone is locked to 3 in the UK and is about 3 years old.)

Ive installed setool lite 1.1 and have managed to backup my GDFS, but not sure which firmware and patches I should be using?

Can anyone please help me to get the right files form your download area please??
