Hi, I am a bit of a newbie to phone modding, so please bear with me.

Is there any way to get skype on a w995 so that I can make free skype to skype calls? I have downloaded 'skype lite' from skype, but that dials a local number from my handset in order to call one of my contacts, making the whole thing a bit pointless (i hope that makes sense)

Basically, I have unlimited data allowance on my o2 contract, so I want to be able to make free skype-to-skype calls from my handset. Is it possible?

lol same to my k800i but thats how it works.
I tried it on a full version nokia 5800 (not SE phone) and it still dials a local no. if you dial a skype contact (using 3 sim card as skype is now free aswel as msn live)

your best bet is to get a 3 sim card that allows you to make unlimited calls / chats to skype contacts. You can also call skypeout contacts, BUT it won't let you call uk numbers via skypeout. Still brilliant though!
