Extracting Firmware from phone, possible?

Is there a way to get the firmware thats on the phone to the pc and that i can use it later. The current firmware is branded with a network, i want to extract it so i can use it when i need to take it back to repair.

Is this possible?

i guess there is no way to extract firmware from phone, instead there's a lot in the download section, look through it and you'll find what you need

Extrac from phone , i think uselless , couse there are many firmware that you can use for your phone as long they match !
