Rebrand W595 on 3UK network

I am new to this forum. My W595 was locked and branded on 3UK network. I debranded using A2uploader and unlocked it using Aerix. Perfect so far. I used SEUS to upgrade to latest Western Europe firmware. Fine till now.

But when i went to http://mobile.three.co.uk to install skype and WLM, it says Operation failed. So I downloaded the 3 custpack from the download section and tried to replace all the files in tpa/preset/custom/

But i still unable to install skype

Any help ?

Skype work fine, download from here: Skype.zip

Click Extract Here on archive, then move *.jad and *.jar to Other.
Open Menu > Organizer > File Manager > Other and install *.jad file !!!

But when I install skype, it costs me money for data usage. The skype from 3 does't cause data usage charge.

have you got the settings for a start?
try insert a empty credit pay as you go 3 sim card and see if you can acess skype?
download skype using 3's network, usually if it doesnt work its because you loss the certificate (*apparently*) to reinstall that i reckon you have to reflash it to 3's firmware.
note thats only due to your unbranding... (because whilst you was unbranding you probably wiped out the certificate hence the error)

according to 3 website skype is totally free for your handset

Try dowloading this file MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Bluetooth the jad file to your phone and you should be prompted to download skype. I have no idea if this will work but I'd be interested to know!
