    Phone not booting up!!! Help!

    hey all u geniuses out there.. last nite i wanted to install some menu files so 1st i did wat my fellow buddies on the forum told me to do... i.e i downloaded db2010cid49_3_3.rar.zip and extracted the w300_p3k_dcu.49R.ss in the FAR directory... i'm usin a w300i so... then i opened xs++ and conneected the phone.. it all did well.. den i chose the w300_p3k_dcu.49R.s (MAIN) file to break in as told to me... then as said it flashed 5 blocks... waited it didint end so i manually choose 'STOP'... (as directed).. then i disconnected the phone... and NOW... THE PHONE ISN'T BOOTING UP!!!!!!!!!!!! where have i gone wrong? or still somethin's remaining??? HELP NEEDED GUYS.... !!

    Download the 1st main file from here http://www.topsony.com/forum/local_links.php?catid=263

    connect ur fone with xs++ in flash main select the file downloaded and flash it .It will turn on .

    the problem is caused because u don't hv to us breakin method in xs++ .The software does it automatically all u hv to do is simple uplod any patch any file u hv to then simple reflash the main file and it's done Simple...;)

    Yeah, this XS++ procedure is good, if he doesn't want to install the menus, but if he wanna do the menu mods, then using far is better. After flashing breakin, use far to do modds and then flash the rest file. Its faster than to flash the whole fw with XS++. the whole fw takes several minutes, the rest with Far only about 2-3 seconds.

    But this SEFP method can damage the phone if it is used a lot...
    I sugest you to download the Gslide patches, then u can change everything without this stuff...

    Well, I use the SEFP method a LOT, several times a day and haven't damaged the phone in any way. The thing is: you cannot damage the phone when flashing. I mean the hardware. The only thing you cam damage is the software and that can be easily repaired = reflashed.

    if you Beginner may be damage to the hardware of phone.
    so you should learn about flashing mobile and help of other user.

    really..?? what kind of damage..? i use the SEFP too, coz Gslide make my phone firmware damage.. LOL

    no you cant attach vkp patches using far manager
