New firmware for W995.How to flash?!!

I'm new to SE's forum but trying to update a pre-owned W995 that I managed to restore (poor contacts/charging port) with A2 - phone is using AT&T 3G prepaid Sim card when in U.S.A. but will switch to China Mobile H.K/China prepaid Sim when oversea, so I would prefer to use both English & Chinese (traditional over simplified, but ....)

I successfully flashed W995_R_1EA028_Main_Generic and FS_1EA028_APAC-ANZ from the download section here, and, use C905_1209-4778_R6A_Generic_America (Custpak) - however, upon initial setup, reboot, battery pull, etc. - and got it working, SE Update Service once connecting & performed its check, report back that there are no updates available & that I have the latest software already ??? I would think that it should be updated to 035 or HA036 - from reading posts here.

I know that I had successfully flash R1HA036 Generic Main and FS for R1HA036 Western Europe, except that I cannot get any of the C905 * custpak to work with it so that I can keep at least traditional Chinese font/display on the phone ....

Been re-reading & referencing, following the detailed steps & pulling battery, reset & reboot, etc. as per directions. Need help & advise - is there a FS for Asia/Taiwan/Hong Kong or even China for the R1HA036 Main firmware that's available to flash directly, or must it be downloaded & done via SEUS - or is there an edit that I'm somehow missing. I tried patching the customization file but for some reasons, it's not accepting or recognizing the changes that I put into the xml file & tried to move back to the subfolder.

Thanks for helping, I followed steps & used your custpack to flash with A2uploader V5 - was able to switch the default font to English but I didn't see Chinese at all in the Phone or Write Language. Anyway, I turned off, pull battery, reconnect to SEUS to check for update. Nothing - tried it twice, I get the "No new software .... Your phone .... installed. "

I believe the HA036 is the newest firmware but without Chinese on it (traditional or simplified) - it won't work especially when I plan to let someone borrow this for use when they travel oversea soon. I found a C905_1212-7297_R10A_Customized_Hong Kong custpack and trying it out with 036_FS_Western Europe to see what happened next .....

Did SEUD made changes and the update aren't working anymore, or, is there something else I should try? Thanks again to all ....

Try this:
1st. Unzip the W995 CHINA CDF1226-8269 R1HA036.zip; then using A2uploader go to following route: tpa/preset/custom drag and upload customize_upgrade.xml.
2nd: Disconnect your phone from A2uploader and turn your phone on, and wait for it to load; then turn your phone off.
3rd: Using SEUS software (Sony Ericsson Update Service), you must follow the steps and update your phone.
4th: You must waiting all procedure, and finally you'll get Chinesse language.
