Problem flashing Sony Ericsson W900i (blue screen)

My w900i started flashing about 3 weeks ago so I turned to the these forums for help. I downloaded all the drivers and firmware needed and tried to flash my phone with XS++ this morning. It was going well up until the following point:

It was about 94 flashblocks done when I got a blue screen and my laptop died. I tried to restart in safe mode and reflash the phone but it's not even detecting the phone anymore. If I try connect the phone to my laptop in normal mode I get blue screened again. I can't seem to find any solutions to this problem online. Does anyone here perhaps have any advice WRT this problem.

Try widows xp, in safe mode ur phone won't detect by windows, any windows.

I will give that a try as soon as I can get access to a windows xp box and post the results here.

Ok, flashing it on an XP base went through the flash process completely but my phone is still flashing it's screen. I think I may have flashed it with the incorrect firmware. I will try something else and follow up.
