help, flashing not working anymore

I flashed my k770i to a vodafone uk one (my phone is originaly vodafone uk) after flashing to a Firmware i didn't like (call end and menu buttons in wrong order)

this firmware on my phone now has set my K770i cybershot camera to VGA only, no megapixels and I can't change it like originaly. K770_R8AC001_MAIN_VODAFONE_VI_RED53

I am trying a HUTCHINSON firmware K770_R8BA024_MAIN_HUTCHISON_HK_VI_RED53 as my phone is a CID 53 RED, DB2020 phone... problem is any firmware i'm trying now gives me the error



Help in resolving this will be greatly appreciated because I need my megapixel camera back at the least

I flashed the filesytem for the K770_R8AC001_MAIN_VODAFONE_VI_RED53 with the K770_R8AC001_FS_VFE_LIVE_1_RED53.fbn in the same download folder on this site and now I get an configuration errror turning on the phone :S

It was working fine on the original fs that come with the phone but after i updated the fs to oe coinciding with the vodafone MAIN it broke the phone and now all I get is the Configuration error on boot... do i need a customization pack or something?

a=if not, is there a way to recover my phone... I have looked around and there is so much information it's confused me and I'm worried i will make things worse

I am literally quaking in my shoes now through worry, If anybody can give a step by step guide in easiest way for me to understand I will be so grateful!

EDIT:

i installed a custom pack and now the phone works but everything is confusing...

the only thing on the main screen is a button called "Ticker"

to get to the menu it's the middle button and the other buttons do strange things too... is this just the case of lashing another firmware/fs?

I am still getting the PutFiles(Putfile(putfile_flash(flashbabe(header(se nd head error 15)))))

is that to do with the flash files like the main/FS that i'm trying to use or is the phone borked needing something else to regain flashing capabilities?

all I need to know now is:

is it the firmware on the phone stopping me from flashing another firmware thus giving me the header error 15 (see the pic in first post)

or

is it just a corrupted firmware that I am trying to flash to the phone, I'm wondering because most firmwares I have tried wont flash right now giving that error 15.

On a side note, since flashing the phone the network seems to have stablized, the original firmware seemed to be causing it to loose signal and then shoot up to full bars, then 3G went out and come back on... the firmware I have now seems to keep it at full signal :/ K770_R8AC001_MAIN_VODAFONE_VI_RED53

I want to try and get a generic firmware onto it!
