my pc cant find the drivers on the phone

my laptop wont find the phone when i plug it in, it says their are no drivers where can i get them from and how do i install them

what is your phone? have you SonyEricsson PC suite(it contain drivers) ?
if you want to Flash your phone you need to USBFlash driver (using usb cable DCU60) and see here: Top Sony Forums

i have the w880i, and when i plug the usb in, it wont pick up the phone at all,

but i can plug my k850i in and it will pick it up straight away,

USBFlash Driver just donwload it in download section
and look in 'mark forum read' up in 'quick access' you'll find different Tutorials

is the cable of w880 dcu 60 if not download another cable suite in download section,
if it is, so it may be an EROM problem :confused: i'm not sure but it may be,
Have you tried to change PC? or installing PC suite ?
the w880 have never been detected in your laptop before?

Hi! I have w810i phone. After installing the drivers and pc suite, when I connect my phone with pc first of all following message appears


when i click on the ballon following message appears


other phones of Nokia, SonyEricsson even the same model i.e; w810i of my brother connects with the same pc but my w810i cannot connect.
In futue I have connected it with my pc many times, installed flash themes and many more stuff with the help of XS and some other softwares.
The problem seems to be inside the phone.
Can anybody help me solve this problem?

Clean the connector on the phone with a wooden toothpick.
