problems unlocking k800i

IM having problems using the d-unlocker to take the uk vodafone lock off a k800i this is how far i get...

after this point when i diconnect the phone and reconnect holding 2 and 5 the phone powers up into usb transfer mode, why is this happening? how can i fix this? please help. im by no means an expert at this as this is only the second phone ive unlocked, typically the first worked first time.

Thanks for the swift response, i have tried this way and still nothing happens and the phone goes into usb mode.
